Mike has been actively involved with the markets since the late 90’s and began managing his portfolios through fundamental analysis and long-term investment strategies. He has since developed successful technical analysis strategies that have proven to be more beneficial and rewarding for his personal financial goals and type of trading.

     Mike is a professional day-trader for a Proprietary Firm in Phoenix, AZ with access to more than $400 million. Through savvy technical analysis (chart reading), discipline, odds & probabilities knowledge, and a minimalist mentality, Mike has proven that he has the staying-power and determination to continue his successful trading as a professional. As a minimalist, his preferred technical strategy/setup is the pullback-buy/sell when prices are located in their respective discount zones. Being a minimalist increases the odds and probabilities of the respective strategy, which Mike tries to use as an advantage in his day-to-day trading. His experience, combined with his natural teaching abilities, allow his clients to receive a healthy understanding of several odds and probabilities axioms, which is crucial in order to trade successfully in the markets.

     Before his full-time trading career, Mike was involved in the manufacturing sector (plastics/injection molding) as a Process Engineer or Production Manager for some of the world’s largest companies. Most of these companies were Tier 1 & 2 suppliers of the Automotive Industry or Food & Drug Administration. Through this experience, Mike has learned what it takes for a company to be responsible to their shareholders, thus seeing first-hand the decisions made that enable a company to be fundamentally sound as per the stock market.

     Mike is a natural teacher and possesses a purely adaptive and personable approach. His clients leave him with a well developed (step-by-step) daily trading routine, a firm grasp of order entry (including selling short), added tools (successfully using multiple time frames, trade management, advanced theory, etc…), and confidence, which is an intangible that is most important. One thing is for certain when a client is being mentored by Mike…that student will leave his trading office very satisfied and possess a much higher level of understanding!

     Mike received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an academic emphasis in Economics. He also received an additional undergraduate degree in International Business and is planning on receiving a Master’s Degree in Education within the next couple of years. He is fluent in German and casually speaks Spanish. As an Eagle Scout Award recipient he is insatiably bonded with hobbies of an outdoor nature and enjoys fishing and week-long camping trips in the mountains above all else. Mike won a University-wide Business Plan competition and possesses above average writing/communication skills. He was also a collegiate student-athlete in both football and basketball. He loves watching movies, reading, and leisurely writing. His life-long aspiration is to write a book (probably fictional) and he is currently underway...but he has been underway for quite some time now!

     Throughout the years, Mike has earned accolades in various areas that have given him a reputation of adaptability and professionalism. His successes teaching and trading in the markets have made him an enthusiast of the industry where he now spends most of his time trying to master. He is constantly learning and tries to incorporate new strategies in his trading that he agrees with. His enthusiasm for the markets combined with his pleasant personality, sense of humor, and raw ability to teach has made Mike a very sought-after individual from those wanting to learn.
